Buyer Waypoint · Google Ads API
This public page explains the purpose and data practices of the Buyer Waypoint Google Ads API application. It is an internal tool, not a public Google Ads management service.
No login is required to read this page. This page does not request Google authorization by itself.
In brief: Buyer Waypoint uses the Google Ads API only to monitor, report on, and diagnose the applicant’s own campaigns. The initial implementation is read-only and does not automatically create, edit, pause, or remove advertising assets.
Buyer Waypoint publishes independent product and compatibility content and advertises its own physical-product offers. The application provides private reporting and decision support for those campaigns. It helps identify delivery issues, policy or eligibility problems, tracking gaps, and performance anomalies so the account owner can make informed decisions.
The intended user is the individual account owner. The application does not offer a public dashboard, client access, resale, sublicensing, or Google Ads account management for third parties. It is not a commercial Google Ads management product.
The manager context used for the owner’s advertising workflow.
The Google Ads account currently in scope for internal monitoring.
OAuth scope used:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwordsNo Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or unrelated Google API scopes are requested for this application.
When authorized, the private server-side process may retrieve Google Ads reporting and account information such as campaign and ad status, policy and eligibility information, impressions, clicks, costs, conversions, keywords, search terms, device performance, location performance, and landing-page performance. The data is processed only for internal campaign monitoring, diagnostics, historical comparisons, and decision support.
The initial implementation sends read/query requests only. It does not automatically create, publish, edit, pause, or remove campaigns, ads, keywords, bids, budgets, conversion actions, tracking settings, audiences, or account settings. Any future write capability would require explicit approval immediately before execution.
OAuth credentials and the Google Ads developer token are kept in private managed secret storage. They are not embedded in this website, public files, reports, screenshots, or user-facing output. Access is limited to the owner and the private server-side process.
For the broader website practices, see the Privacy Policy. The Terms of Use describe the public editorial website and referral content.
