Short version: Buyer Waypoint does not require an account, checkout, or form submission for the fit check. The site may still process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, and third-party measurement or referral services may use cookies or similar technologies.
1. About this policy
This policy applies to Buyer Waypoint and the website at buyerwaypoint.com. Buyer Waypoint publishes independent pre-buy guidance and is not the manufacturer or seller of the products discussed on the site.
2. Information the site may process
Information you provide
The current site does not require an account, payment, newsletter signup, or personal-information form. If you contact the site operator through a channel made available outside the fit check, the information you choose to send may be used to respond to your request.
Technical and usage information
Web hosting and security systems may process information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, requested URL, referring page, date and time, and basic error or security events. This information may be processed to deliver the site, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and maintain security.
Fit-check answers
The three-question fit check runs in your browser. Its answers are used to display a result on the page. The site does not ask for your name, phone number, or email to display that result.
3. Cookies, pixels, and referral links
The site may use third-party measurement technology to understand visits and referral activity. The homepage currently loads a Filtripixel script supplied by Filtripixel; that service may process technical identifiers, browser information, page interactions, or referral events according to its own terms and privacy practices.
Some product links are affiliate or referral links. When you follow one, the seller, affiliate network, or tracking provider may receive a referral parameter and may set or read cookies or similar identifiers. Their processing is governed by their own policies, not this one. Review the destination’s privacy, shipping, return, and product terms before purchasing.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings and can decline to follow external referral links. Blocking scripts or cookies may affect measurement features but should not be necessary to read the editorial content.
4. How information is used
- to provide, maintain, and secure the website;
- to detect abuse, fraud, or technical problems;
- to understand aggregate engagement and referral performance;
- to respond to a request you voluntarily send; and
- to comply with legal obligations or protect rights and safety.
5. Sharing and third parties
Information may be processed by website hosting, security, analytics or measurement, affiliate-network, and referral providers that support the site. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the site, its users, or the public. Buyer Waypoint does not sell a user account database because the site does not require user accounts.
6. Retention and security
Retention depends on the purpose and provider involved. Technical logs may be retained for security and operational purposes; referral or measurement records may be retained according to the relevant provider’s terms. Reasonable measures are used to protect the site, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Your choices and questions
You may control cookies and similar technologies through your browser, avoid submitting optional information, and choose whether to follow referral links. For a privacy question or request relating to information you voluntarily sent to Buyer Waypoint, email equipe.negociosonline@gmail.com. A request may need enough information to identify the relevant interaction, and applicable law may limit what can be provided.
Google Ads API application
Buyer Waypoint also operates a private internal application that uses the Google Ads API for the owner’s own advertising accounts. The application may process campaign and ad status, policy and eligibility information, impressions, clicks, costs, conversions, keywords, search terms, device performance, location performance, and landing-page performance. It uses this information only for internal campaign monitoring, reporting, diagnostics, historical comparisons, and decision support.
- The application is not a public dashboard and does not provide Google Ads management for clients or other third parties.
- Data is not sold, licensed, or exposed publicly. It is not shared with advertising clients.
- Retention is limited to information needed for reporting, diagnostics, and historical comparisons. Data is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed for those purposes.
- The initial implementation is read-only and does not automatically create, edit, pause, or remove campaigns, ads, keywords, bids, budgets, conversion actions, tracking settings, audiences, or account settings.
- OAuth credentials and the Google Ads developer token are stored privately and are not included in public website files.
More detail is available on the Google Ads API application information page. Questions or requests about this data can be sent to equipe.negociosonline@gmail.com.
8. Children
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information if you are not legally permitted to do so.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated when the site, services, or applicable requirements change. The effective date above indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the website after an update means the revised policy is available for review.
10. Contact and related terms
For the website’s terms of use, see the Terms of Use. To return to the editorial site, visit Buyer Waypoint.
